The KASTOdisc U 7 is a semi-automatic vertical circular saw with two cutting speeds and infinitely adjustable cutting feed for the universal use in the machine shop and also for production. The remarkable features of this machine include the precise dovetail guide, the rigid gear and the large cutting range. The easy rotating saw head allows on both sides miter cutting from 45°(-) left to 60° (+) right. The pneumatic material clamping and infinitely adjustable cutting feed with height limitation allow a semi-automatic operating cycle, which will be released by a CE-conforming two-hand safety operation. The pneumatic clamping devise with counter clamping device for safe bar stock clamping, chip knocker wheel, re-circulating coolant system, chip drawer, measuring stop, tilting material support arm with a roller, and metal saw blade HSS DMO 5 steam treated Ø 12.40 in. are standard equipment.
