The KASTOtec-series is being complemented
Accessories for KASTOtec bandsaws...

Designed as a heavy construction, the KASTOtec bandsaws are suited for productive cutting in job shops, in industry as well as in steel service centers. Not only common materials but also difficult to cut materials can be cut. The cutting ranges are 330 x 430 mm, 430 x 430 mm or 530 x 630 mm.

Characteristics:

* Use of either bi-metal or carbide saw blades
* Robust, distortion-free welding construction with integrated coolant container
* Saw unit consists of a steel/mineral cast construction, characterized by high damping and quiet running
* Saw units are equipped with high quality linear guide systems
* Vertical guide of the entire saw head via two massive square guide columns
* Hydraulically pretensioned sawband guides as well as a hydraulic side shift cylinder
* Permanent cleaning of sawband via rotating double brush
* Sawband main drive via a large, frequency-controlled bevel spur gear drive with the motor designed for continuos duty cycles
* Fully automatic height adjustment of saw unit, which is aligned with the actual material height via a light push button
* Material clamping and material feed with automatic, NC-controlled ball lead screw
* For safe material transport, the fixed jaw is automatically moved back from the stop edge by approx. 10 mm during material feed movement
* The KASTO-Universal Hydraulic controls the saw feed . With it one can choose infinitely variable between constant feed when cutting solids and constant cutting force when cutting profiles and tubes
* The saw control KASTO CompactControl allows an easy, fast and safe machine operation
* Material feed lengths either 1600 or 3000 mm in one stroke; longer cuts are positioned in multiple strokes

Options:

* 1º inclined saw head , so that, for example, profiles or heavy scaled rectangular materials can be cut easier. Moreover, starting the cut over the edge is easy on the saw blade
* With available equipment and automation options, saws can be modified into completely automatic sawing cells; organizing them-selves from material feed up to the cut-off sorting.

Possible automation degrees as follows:
* Double roller conveyor for continuous material feed
* Inclined magazine for loading and feeding same size/grade material
* Universal magazine systems for flexible and automatic feed of saw from the material stock
* Cut-off sorter to deposit cuts in various available containers
* Cut-off marking system for immediate marking and identification of cuts
* Links between the KASTOtec saws and bar storage systems and for integration into sawing centers
* Bundle clamping devices - Possibility to machine bars in layer cuts. The layer is fixed via hold-down device. Via bundle clamping device, several bars can be cut side by side or stacked. The material is clamped via two hydraulic clamping vises
* Vibrating table - motor driven to clean and vibrate cut pieces so that they are moved out of the work area free of chips
* Minimum quantity lubrication systems - ideal for cutting tubes and profiles : less pollution of work area, it also considerably saves coolant.
