Miter Bandsawing Machines of the KASTOpos series

The new Miter Bandsaws of the KASTOpos series are especially suited for universal use when miter cutting solids and profiles. Available in three sizes KASTOpos GA 2 (cutting ranges up to 280 mm diameter), GA 3 (320 mm diameter) and GA 4 (400 mm diameter), these saws cover a wide spectrum from job shop to industrial applications. The saw head can be easily moved and repeatedly positions accurately in seconds in the miter range up to 60º (one-sided and in manual operation) and up to 45º in automatic mode. The cutting speeds are infinitely variable between 17 and 90 m/min. The KASTO-Universal Hydraulic ensures - according to the preselected setting at the operator's panel - consistent feed when cutting solids or consistent cutting forces when cutting profiles and tubes. The saw feed adapts optimally to each cross section to be cut. Material feed is motor-driven, the max. feed length is 750 mm, but a multiple feed up to 9 times of the feed length is possible. As an option, automation components like roller conveyor, bundle clamping device or process control devices are available.
